In memoriam

I learned that this past Saturday (Nov. 7) Blackhawk, a long time resident of Wolf Haven International [link] , was euthanized for medical reasons at 13 years of age. This has put me in a bit of a mood, and I'm probably going to be posting pictures of animals that have passed on over the next few days.

OZ wolves are on exhibit from 9-12 daily, and 1 male mongoose and 1 female mongoose arrived as well. They're in quarantine. So there's another 30 days till they're on exhibit...unless they'll serve quarantine in their exhibit since it's new.

Oooo, mongooses. Um, 30 day quarantine… with my schedule that means I probably won't see them until mid-January.
