Corvus Cousins

On the left, an American crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos) from the grounds of the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, WA. On the right, a common raven (Corvus corax) from the Old Faithful area of Yellowstone National Park.

I just gathered a number of crow close-ups/portraits, and realized that I could make these kinds of comparison pieces. I should be able to find more that are this close in pose.
Actually, most of the crow portraits of this individual, as they tend to be rather paranoid (it's easier to get close-ups of ravens in national parks then crows in urban areas, even zoos). Suppose I shouldn't be all that surprised, given the harassment they face, especially from small children on zoo grounds on in parks.
